Here at H-G we take handgun hunting very seriously. I began my handgun hunting career over thirty years ago. I took my first deer that year with a handgun using a Ruger Blackhawk in 41Mag, and cast 220 gr "Keith" bullet at a solid 135 yards. I was hooked from that moment on!
I also became a serious student of the cast bullet at the same time. Over the years we've worked with a wide range of styles and designs, alloys and lubes, assorted hardening techniques, firing literally tons of lead along the way. We have, consequently, formed some opinions on what works and why. We try to bring our knowledge and experience to the table with all of our cast bullet offerings.
All of our hunting bullets are available standard, either "as cast" with a BHN of around 16, or heat treated to a BHN of 22-24. We try whenever possible to offer as many sizing choices as possible to match you exact needs in a hunting bullet. We can also taylor an alloy to meet your BHN needs. We are a custom hand casting business, and are here to suit your needs whenever possible. Simply add a note to any order and we will do everything we can to fill you needs.
Our line is growing every day. We have many new molds in the works, and new bullets will be coming on line steadily. But, we refuse to rush any of this. New molds are scrutinized extensivly to assure that the bullets they produce are of superior quality, and we don't hesitate to reject those that fail to meet our standards.
